Many of us have become “fans” of more than just a single Facebook fan page. But do we know how powerful a Facebook Fan Page could be and what benefits you can get from it, particularly for your company?
A Facebook Fan Page is a place to put up and publicize information: your company profile, websites and contact info, press releases, blogs, articles, videos, Twitter updates, and company news. Fans may also react and exchange opinion through the discussion board, which is one of the main attractions of a Fan Page.
To achieve its objectives, your Fan Page must have a lot of fans. How do you attract them? First of all, ensure that your page catches attention through smart lines and interesting profile copy. Next, provide all the information that you would like people to know about your business. Place your company logo, complete information, including email and links to your website. Then, suggest the page to your FB friends who might be interested in your business or might have friends that are interested in your business.
While you are building your fan list, promote. Post links on other pages that you follow or link up the page to your profile status. If you have a website or an account in other online social networks, put up a widget, Facebook button, or a simple link to Facebook.
Lastly, considering the high volume of Facebook traffic, you must be able to keep up. Post regularly on your page and keep it updated. That way, you would not only maintain your fan base but will likely get new fans every week.
